Job Summary
Wonderful, family-owned and operated company in the Houston area is seeking to hire a Receptionist/Documentation Clerk for their busy office! Duties of this job include: - Working half a day at the front desk - answering phones and greeting people coming in to the office - Buzzing people in as they come to the door (unlocking the door) - Taking messages, keeping track of meetings, and calling/contacting different people within the company as they have guests arrive - Spending half of their day doing data entry/documentation - Entering information off of certificates that state the liferafts/fire alarms/sprinkler systems they are inspecting have cleared or not cleared specifications - Reading numbers and signatures off of these certificates and entering them into their system - Scanning certificates and uploading them/filing them away after they are done - Having lots of contact with the guys in the warehouse if you cannot read a signature or a number on one of the certificates This company?s industry is highly regulated, so you must have a high attention to detail and speak up when there is a mistake on any of the paperwork! This position starts out paying $12 per hour ? our client is super quick to hire after the 520 hour/90 day period if all is going well ? this is an excellent opportunity!!!
